Jeriel emigrated from India to New Zealand with her parents at the age of 5. She is currently based in Hastings. From a very young age, Jeriel knew that she was called to be a worshipper. Even as a young child, she carried an atmosphere of worship around her.

At the tender age of 5, she wrote her first song. However, after a lull of a few years at the age 15, she started writing songs again and it seemed like she was writing a new song every 45 days. God began giving her lyrics, melodies, and music of the songs in her dreams. She released her first EP in 2017.

She has a passion for leading others into the presence of God.
